The key innovation behind Powerproof E is Motion Control Technology, which combines tread design, compound development and tire construction into a single system. Together, these elements are designed to balance rolling resistance, wet grip and noise performance across the entire range.

Three elements. One system.

The key innovation acts as an integrated system. The Energy Flow Tread supports low rolling resistance and efficient water evacuation. The Precision Grip Compound is designed to balance wet grip, braking performance and wear resistance. The Stability Support Core helps maintain stability and even load distribution. Together, these solutions work to balance rolling resistance, grip and stability across a wide range of summer driving conditions.

Advanced materials. Added protection.

Recycled and renewable materials account for more than 40% of the materials used across the Nokian Tyres Powerproof E product line. The tire construction also incorporates recycled steel. In sizes 17 inches and above, Nokian Tyres Aramid Strong Sidewall Technology helps protect the tire against impacts and cuts encountered in everyday driving, while Nokian Tyres SilentDrive™ Technology helps reduce noise transmitted into the vehicle cabin. Together with the tire's tread design and construction, these technologies support durability and low interior noise levels.

Motion Control Technology brings together low rolling resistance, wet grip and driving stability in one integrated system. By combining advanced tread design, compound development and tire construction, the technology balances key tire characteristics that are often challenging to achieve simultaneously.

Energy Flow Tread is developed to support low rolling resistance, stable road contact and efficient water evacuation. The tread pattern also contributes to low external rolling noise, helping balance energy efficiency, wet performance and driving comfort.

Beyond the tread.

Precision Grip Compound is engineered to balance wet grip, braking performance and wear resistance while helping maintain low rolling resistance. The advanced compound formulation contributes to the balanced performance characteristics of Nokian Tyres Powerproof E across changing summer conditions.

Stability starts at the core.

The Stability Support Core is the structural foundation of the Nokian Tyres Powerproof E. It is designed to support stability, durability and driving comfort by helping the tire maintain its shape and road contact under load. Together with a new tread profile and size-specific construction, it contributes to stable handling, low rolling resistance and consistent performance.

Built-in resilience

Aramid Strong Sidewalls adds protection and durability. The sidewalls are reinforced with exceptionally strong aramid fibers to help the tire better withstand impacts from potholes, curbs, and road debris. Available in all sizes from 17” and up.

Quiet by design.

Nokian Tyres SilentDrive™ Technology helps reduce noise transmitted into the vehicle cabin for a quieter and more comfortable driving experience. Available in selected sizes from 17 inches and above.
